MaryBeth handles patient insurance claims and addresses all the insurance-related needs of the practice. She has been a part of Wells Endo family since we opened our doors in 2007. (As Dr. Wells' sister, MaryBeth has been part of the family for a lot longer than that!) Johnny Wells

CHIEF COOK AND BOTTLE WASHER

More About Johnny

Johnny, a retired civil engineer, is also Dr. Wells’ father. Starting with the design and construction of the Wells Endodontics’ office building in 2006, he has been lending a hand with his son’s endodontics practice from time to time. In addition to keeping up with building maintenance, Johnny has been adapting his engineering skills to the dental field. That comes in handy when there’s a dental equipment maintenance issue, when any of the 21 computers in the office go down, or when another technical problem threatens to interrupt the smooth workflow that’s so important to quality patient care. As the father of nine and (so far) grandfather of 17, Johnny enjoys his new-found life of leisure by taking full advantage of living between the beach and Disney World!

CLINICAL

Kristine Longen

CLINICAL LEAD

More About Kristine

Born and raised in Minnesota, Kristine graduated from NE Technical College with her dental assisting degree in 1992. In 2004, she decided to trade The Land of 10,000 Lakes (and its long, cold winters) for The Sunshine State, settling in (... where else?) Land O’Lakes! She lives there today with her husband, Rich, and son Trevor. Having worked in endodontics for the past six of her nearly 30 years of experience as a dental assistant, Kristine is an invaluable member of the Wells Endodontics team. Early in her career, she also found the time to serve her country as a member of the Army Reserves. Hobbies include reading, playing board games and selling real estate.

Vern Kitcherman

DENTAL ASSISTANT

More About Vern

Trained as a dental assistant in the US Air Force, Vern brings a wealth of relevant experience with him to Wells Endodontics. The time he was assigned to MacDill Air Force Base (1986-1996) was interrupted in 1990 and 1991 for service as part of Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Although this Baltimore native has travelled extensively, he remains a loyal supporter of the two pro football teams he grew up with, (now named) The Ravens and The Washington Commanders. So far, Dr. Wells’ repeated attempts to convert Vern to a fan of Baker Mayfield and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have failed. Completely. In his spare time, Vern enjoys working out, going to the beach and snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Every day, Irma brings her experience and her smiling face to work with her. She is compassionate, caring and looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships with the patients she takes such good care of at Wells Endodontics.

Nga “Emma” Trinh

DENTAL ASSISTANT

More About Emma

Born and raised in Viet Nam, Emma and her husband immigrated to the United States in 2010 and moved to Wesley Chapel nine years later. She feels right at home here because Florida’s beautiful beaches, nature trails and warm weather remind her so much of where she lived while growing up in Viet Nam.

Emma completed college in Viet Nam, majoring in printing technology. After a few years in the US, she decided to get formal training as a dental assistant which enabled her to go to work for a general dentist. While there are differences between assisting a general dentist and assisting an endodontist, Emma is a fast learner and has adapted quickly. She loves meeting and greeting new people which makes her a natural for this profession. Taking excellent care of her patients by assuring that they are comfortable and completely at ease while in her care is her first priority.

Spending time with her extended family -- her husband, their two kids (+puppy!), her parents and her grandmother – is her greatest joy. In her spare time, she usually can be found practicing yoga at a nearby Health and Wellness Center or at home baking some sweet treats to share with her family ... AND to share with those of us who are lucky enough to work with Emma at Wells Endo!

Nicole Wittry

DENTAL ASSISTANT

More About Nicole

Sometimes we get lucky! It took a while, but we finally persuaded Nicole, with her 24 years of experience as a dental assistant, to make the change from working for general dentists to working for Wells Endodontics. She quickly adapted her skills to our specialty practice, garnering rave reviews from patients and staff alike.

Seven years after moving from Arkansas to Florida in 2011, Nicole was blessed by the birth of her daughter, Maddison. Recently their two dogs, Simba and Luna, had to accommodate a new addition to the household: an adorable little floppy-eared bunny named Cloe. In her free time, Nicole enjoys listening to live music, whether it be up-and-coming local bands or concerts in larger venues. Another of Nicole’s interests outside of the office is the laser cutter she bought for her own amusement a few years ago. Doing custom engraving and making other artistic creations to sell to friends and neighbors has turned this hobby into a viable side business. Now, with the demand for her work increasing every day, it’s time for her to invest in a second, more versatile, laser cutter!
